In order to participate in a sport, student athletes must first be cleared by the Athletic Director. Certain forms are required for clearance and the Athletic Director will check the student's grades for the last reporting period. Student athletes must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher, and not have more than one "U" in Citizenship or one "F" to be eligible to participate in a sport.

Both students and their parents should read the Athletic Handbook. When you sign the signature form included with the Sports Physical, you agree that you understand and will abide by the rules set forth in the Athletic Handbook.

Any student-athlete testing positive for COVID-19 may not return to practice or competition until cleared by their physician

Due to COVID-19, the 2020-2021 Sports seasons have been adjusted by CIF for this year only.  All sports now fall into two seasons both to be played during the second semester.

CIF Season 2 Sports (March-June): Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Swimming & Diving, Tennis, Track & Field, Boys Volleyball, Wrestling

Physical conditioning, practice, skill building, and training that can be conducted outdoors, with 6-ft of physical distancing, and within stable team cohorts are currently authorized for all sports regardless of county tier status.  Such activities may be conducted indoors consistent with the Gym & Fitness Center Guidance Capacity.  In counties under the Regional Stay at Home Order, only activities consistent with the sentence above are permitted, regardless of the county's tier status.

Competitions between two teams will not be allowed in California until January 25, 2021, at the earliest.  Once return to competition is allowed every participating school's county must also be in the authorized tier status for the respective sport in order to compete.

Try-out information for all sports will be announced during the

Multi-sport athletes

Athletes moving from one sport to another sport within the same semester need to fill out a Request for Program Change form, have their current coach listed in Aeries sign it, the coach of the sport they are moving into sign it, and the Athletic Director sign it.  The form then needs to be turned into their counselor before the athlete can begin meeting with the new sport.
